Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is an very well produced informal introductory course to the Christian faith for anyone who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. Based on Mark’s Gospel it explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.

The course is being held at ABC on Tuesday evenings. Each evening begins at 7.45 pm with cheese and wine, tea and coffee. All who enrol in the course will receive a complimentary course guide and no charge will be made for the course or the food. A box will be available for anyone who wants to make a contribution towards the costs, but we are very happy for you to ‘have it on us’.

The refreshments are followed by a reading from Mark’s Gospel which is then discussed in small groups. After this we watch a very well presented talk by Rico Tice, who is on the leadership team of a Central London church. Each talk lasts about 20 minute and after the DVD presentation we then talk about what was said in our small groups finishing by 9.30 pm. As the advertising says ‘you don’t need to know anything about the Bible and you can ask any questions you like’. Furthermore you will not be asked to sing or pray or read out loud as we want this course to help you explore the Christian Faith without feeling uncomfortable or embarassed.

If you would like to enroll for the course or find out more information please fill in the form to the right or phone Phil Draper on 01344 883459
