Why do we give to the Church?

All our worship is a response to God. This includes our financial giving which comes from a heart of gratitude and faith.

God owes us nothing – yet He has given us everything we have out of sheer kindness, including His own Son.

When we give gladly and sacrificially to the local church we are rightly using the resources He has entrusted to us: serving the advance of His gospel in Ascot and beyond.

We can be confident that He knows about our needs and will provide for us as a loving Father (Matthew 6.33; Philippians 4.19).

Without imposing a specific percentage we want to invite you to join us in the true joy of generosity, thus becoming imitators of the giving God (2 Corinthians 9.6-11).

Thank you so much for your amazing support in this area.

How to give?

  • By  cheque – All cheques should be made payable to Ascot Baptist Church– regardless of what the offering is for. Please mark the back of your cheque with the area you would like the giving to go to. We will assume it is for that week’s offering, unless it is marked otherwise. If you have not done so please remember to fill out a Gift Aid form.
  • By cash – If you would like us to reclaim the tax on the amount, then you need to download Cash Donation Slips here plus a Gift Aid form here.  One slip needs to be completed for each cash donation. We cannot reclaim the tax on any CASH donations which do not have an accompanying slip. Place the slip and the cash in an envelope and deposit it in the box provided at the back of the church hall.  Envelopes are provided adjacent to the box.
